IN OUT Festival is a recurring event organised byLAZNIA Centre for Contemporary Art since 2005. This year, the festival’s 15th jubilee edition will focus on design. IN OUT Festival 2022 wants to look at what design means for visual artists and what video and films represent for designers. How does the function of design change under the influence of new media? Do design strategies work in contact with different media – and if so, how? As part of the festival, LAZNIA CCA is holding a two-stage competition for short experimental forms in the form of an open call. Polish and international artists shortlisted in the first stage are invited to the festival in Gdańsk, and their works will be shown during special festival screenings.
As part of the anniversary celebrations, a conference summarizing the last editions of the festival will be held on 3-4 December 2022.
