We will fail video it’s a story of fascination and mystery set in a timeless space filled with potted plants, modernist furniture, old museum specimen and other ephemera. The main characters conducts a series of surrealist acts and pseudo-scientific experiments lifted straight from Codex Seraphinianus. The central object of the video is a mysterious chemical substance, the effects of which are never revealed —but which must be powerful, as hinted by the violent dimming of the lights. Is it a chemical weapon? Is it a powerful drug? Maybe a cure for a disease or the elixir of youth? The answer is up to each watcher.
Olga Ozierańska was born in Poland, in 1986. She is a multimedia artist. The range of her activities comprises mainly film and photography Olga received her Master of Fine Arts Degree from the University of Art in Poznan, Poland in 2011 (specialisation Intermedia). She also studied in Granada, Spain. She received a grant at Central Saint Martins in London. Her works have been exhibited in Spain, Lithuania, Slovakia, Romania and Poland. She won the Art and Fashion competition in the category of Fashion Photograph in 2011 and she took part in prestigious Fashionclash Festival in Maastricht in 2014. Her films have been shown on Proxi Act London Short Film Festival and Arte Video Koeln.
