A space dedicated to residencies was created nearby the house of Ela Jabłońska and her family. In a small house, artists will have the opportunity to create independently and freely. As part of the residency, at least one public event dedicated to the local community is possible, which can take any form, from an open artist talk, projection or conducting a workshop to more informal events, such as an invitation to a joint meal.

About Sense perception project
The project with a working title “Sense perception” is an attempt to reflect on the diversity of sensory experience. For the longest time our senses were considered entirely autonomous ‘perceptual modules’, each functioning independently. Recent studies have shown however, that our perceptual experiences are formed by manifold, complex interactions between sensory modalities. Clinical tests indicate that the senses are not only fundamentally connected but also that our perception of visual, auditory or tactile events can be altered dramatically by information from other senses.
The project is curated by Nina Czegledy – an artist, curator, educator who works internationally on collaborative art, science & technology projects. The changing perception of the human body and its environment as well as paradigm shifts in the arts inform her projects. She has exhibited and published widely, won awards for her artwork and has initiated, lead and participated in workshops, forums and festivals worldwide at international events.
* There is also a possibility of presenting artworks created in the fames of residency as accompanying events to the “Sense perception” exhibition, in Autumn of 2021. Details would be arranged as a result of individual discussions.
